Robins: Mass Transit Lean Event

Robins Air Force Base, Ga. – Base officials and community leaders are paving the road to improving mass transit in-and-around the Robins region.

Local leaders received a personal invitation from Robins’ Installation Commander, Col. Mitchel Butikofer, to attend the two-day LEAN event.  Attendees kicked off the event this morning at the Museum of Aviation.

LEAN is a systematic approach to identifying waste within a process. The focus group, comprised of a diverse mix of base and community leaders, hopes to identify wasteful processes that can be eliminated, develop new processes, or revitalize existing ones within the area’s mass transit program.
