Air Show Features Blue Angels

ROBINS, AFB., GA.--The Air Show lineup features performers including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, F-18 Hornets, the C-130 Hercules, and the Air Force F-22 Raptor.

The air show is free and open to the public and starts at 11:30 a.m.

You can park at the Macon Airport, McConnell-Talbert Stadium and Anchor Glass and then catch bus transportation to the show. The shuttle starts at 9:45 a.m. both days and gates open at 10 a.m.

The shuttle runs until 5 p.m.

Moody Rd. from Highway 96 to Robert Bryson Way is now open to traffic, a Warner Robins Police Department news release says.

The road was closed to traffic for repair on a ruptured gas line Monday.

One lane will be closed on I-75 northbound for road maintenance.

That's scheduled between Exit 142 and milemarker 145 from Wednesday, February 29 through Friday, March 2, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily.

WARNER ROBINS, GA.--On Saturday, Osigian Blvd. will be closed from Georgetown Blvd. to Margie Dr. for the the Cantrell Center 5K Road Race. 

It'll be blocked from 8 a.m. until around 10:30 a.m.

That's according to Warner Robins Police Department's Tabitha Pugh.

 

Traffic will also be affected at the intersection of Willie Lee Parkway and Osigian Boulevard. 

Seek alternate routes during the event.
