Local musician and 2011 Houston County High School graduate Sam Fisher takes the stage for the NFL Honor's Party this weekend with the band, BADHORSE.

Fisher took a few minutes out of his rehearsal schedule to answer a few questions for us.

WMAZ: So you’ve landed this gig, hosted by Alec Baldwin. Tell me more about that.

SAM FISHER: We are playing for the NFL Honor's Party hosted by Alec Baldwin and it will air February 6th at 10:00 p.m. on the NFL Network Channel. 

WMAZ: How did you get started with the band, BADHORSE?

SAM: At first, I got hooked with them because they needed a drum tech and then one day I got a call saying the old drummer left and they needed a new one, wondering if I would try out, I gladly accepted and now I am playing at the Superbowl with the guys.

WMAZ: What is one of the best memories you’ve had with the band so far?

• Downtown Macon's Friday Fest 2nd Annual Christmas Caroling. Anyone can participate! Meet in Third St. Park at 6 p.m.
• Tennille Christmas on the Square, Friday Dec. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
• Eastman Christmas Parade starts Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.
• Gray Second Saturday Fest until 7 p.m. Santa is at the Carriage House from 2-7 p.m. Saturday.
• Drive-thru nativity scene at Riverside UMC in Macon, open from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday [free admission]
• Drive-thru nativity scene at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Sardis Church Rd. opens 6:30 p.m until 8 Friday and Saturday [free admission]
