Chamber Welcomes Simply Cupcakes

- The Robins Regional Chamber recently hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Simply Cupcakes, located at 627 South Houston Lake Road, Suite 108 in the Oasis Shopping Plaza.

The owner of Simply Cupcakes, June McGhee, has been cooking and baking for over thirty years for a host of family and friends during her spare time.  After many years of working, June decided to leap out on faith and do her life long passion of baking full time. So in 2009, June opened Simply Cupcakes as an online cupcakery and built a steady and loyal following of cupcake fans. Realizing that she had found her niche in making gourmet cupcakes, June again took that leap of faith and opened up her storefront in 2011. The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 10-6 and on Saturday from 10-5.

Buying Furniture in Warner Robins

Buying Furniture in Warner Robins

A few months ago my mother graciously decided she was going to buy me new living room furniture because mine was old, ugly, and worn out.

Armed with a budget of $2,000 or less, I gathered my husband and immediately went shopping. He and I went to several stores here in Warner Robins and had settled on two sets, at two different stores, that we were torn between.

One was at what a store I will not name and the other was Crosby's Furniture. I did the logical thing and in listed my mother to help.
