Middle Georgia State College Logo Chosen | Schools

As Macon State College and Middle Georgia College prepare to consolidate, students have chosen a logo for the mascot of the new college, The Knights.

MSC and MGC are on schedule to become Middle Georgia State College in January 2013 with campuses in Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman and Warner Robins.

According to a news release, after a two-day vote, 91 percent of the votes were for the logo attached to this story.

The logo was designed by the Joe Bosack Graphic Design Co., who developed it with input from students, staff and faculty. The purple, black and silver/gray color scheme had been selected by students prior to the logo design.

Development has begun for a logo representing the consolidated institution.
