Veterans High AFJROTC Finishes Newcomers Orientation Training | Schools

Houston County, GA – The Veterans High School AFJROTC GA Unit 20101 completed its annual Newcomers Orientation Training this past summer.   The program is designed to provide upcoming first-year cadets with an overview of the organization, military traditions, uniform wear, drill and citizenship.

This training jumpstarts their involvement in the AFJROTC program.  Cadets who completed the week-long program (pictured) were promoted to the permanent rank of Cadet Airman.  Lt. Col. (Ret.) Steve Atkins serves as the AFJROTC instructor.
