Cecilia Hannon Graff

Cecilia Maureen Graff, 52, entered into rest on Friday, July 8, 2011.

Mrs. Graff was born on November 22, 1958 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cecilia was a food service attendant at Sacred Heart Catholic School where she touched the lives of many children with her love and kindness. She loved her family, pets, plants, cooking, and making everyone feel at home. Her parents, John B. Hannon and Iris Aldridge Hannon, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of thirty years, Jody Graff, Warner Robins; children, John "Josh" Stephen Graff (Jennifer C. Graff) and Katherine "Katie" Maureen Graff; sisters, Irene Grace, Susan Shepard, Lauretta Hannon; brothers, Dennis Hannon and John Patrick Hannon; step mother, Sybil Hannon; step sister, Donna Byrd; her loving pets and many other loving family members and friends.

Joseph Edward Platania

Joseph Edward Platania, 90, entered into rest on Friday, July 8, 2011.

Mr. Platania was born on February 7, 1921 in Lawrence, Massachusetts and moved with his parents in 1925 to Brooklyn, New York, residing there until 1941 when he moved to Dayton, Ohio. Joseph retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty six years of service where he was employed as a Program Manager. He served in the United States Army during WWII. His parents, Joseph Platania and Grace Darois Platania; sister, Gloria Platania, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty three years, Esther Adams Platania, Kathleen; sister, Blanch Gelo, Long Island, New York; two nieces and one nephew, all of New York; and his beloved extended family, Greg, Delores, and Gabbie Lewis; and Jeremy and Trey Easterling.

Betty Richter Nichols

Betty R. Nichols, 94, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2011.

Daniel Morris Golden

Daniel Morris Golden, 51, entered into rest on Monday, July 4, 2011.

Daniel was born on July 10, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a gentle soul to all animals and people, especially people who society turned their back on. Daniel was a member of Southside Baptist Church, was a musician, and loved everything about music. His father, Robert Golden, preceded him in death in 1990.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Jane G. (Hubert) Cummings, Kathleen; brother, Robert A. (Karin) Golden; nephew, Adam (Carrie) Golden; and great-nephew, Ryan Golden.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

The family will accept flowers or donations to the Warner Robins Animal Shelter, 208 Stalnaker Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. 

Murell L. Turner

Murrell L. Turner, 79, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 25, 1932 in McRae, Georgia he was the son of a sharecropper living on various farms all over Georgia. With pride and honor, Murrell served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1955. Subsequent to his military enlistment, he worked as a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base for a short period of time. He retired from Sears after twenty five years of service where he was employed as a Delivery Driver. He was of the Baptist faith. Murrell adored his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening. His parents, brothers; Massey, Aubrey and Henry, all preceded him in death.

William Rufus Plunkett

Rufus Plunkett, 81, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2011.

Mr. Plunkett was born on February 14, 1930 in Joppa, Alabama. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army. He later retired from civil service working as a Materials and Equipment Inspector. He attended First Baptist Church of Bonaire. His wife of fifty-five years, Dorothy J. Plunkett; and parents, John Nolan Plunkett and Lydia Plunkett, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, William Russell Plunkett, Terry Plunkett, David W. Plunkett, and Wayne Plunkett, all of Bonaire; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister, Frances Hardester, Ocala, Florida; and brother, John H. Plunkett, Macon.

Carol Wilson Rosseau

Carol Wilson Rosseau, 86, entered into heaven on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. 

Mrs. Rosseau was born on December 31, 1924 in West Somerset, New York. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville and the Sutherlin Sunday School Class. A Nurse, she received most of her training during WWII. She proudly served as a missionary for fifty two years with Missionary Gospel Fellowship and eight years with American Missions for Opening Churches. Her husband, Reverend Norman Miles Rosseau; parents, Arza L. Wilson and Dorothy Dickinson Wilson, and three siblings, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children and their spouses, Jim (Mary) Rosseau, Warner Robins; Cindy (Blair) Grubbe, Elkhart, Indiana; Jerry (Chiyo) Rosseau, Jacksonville, Florida; siblings, Betty Kepner, Donna Farley, Bill Wilson, George Wilson, Mary Ackerson, Marion Meloon; seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
