Edward Calvin Butler

Edward Calvin Butler, 77, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, April 9, 2012.

Calvin was born on June 3, 1934 in Turner County, Georgia. He was a member of Parkway Assembly of God Church in Macon, Georgia. With pride and honor, Calvin served in the United States Navy, serving during the Korean conflict. After twenty four years of dedicated service, he retired from Merico, Inc. / Colonial Baking Company where he was a Sales Manager. He enjoyed spending time with his family, making picture frames, remodeling houses and reading his Bible.

MSgt Earl E. Noll, USAF (Ret)

MSgt Earl E. Noll, USAF (Ret), 91, entered into rest on Friday, January 27, 2012.

Earl was born on April 9, 1920 in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force obtaining the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring. While stationed in Japan, he coached Little League Baseball, and several of his teams won titles. Earl was also the owner of Noll's Gulf Station for fifteen years.

Clare Lillian Lawler Premo 1923-2012

Clare Lillian Lawler Premo, 88, of Warner Robins, GA died April 8, 2012 after a long and wonderful life.

Clare was born August 9, 1923 in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia, to Hector James Lawler and Queenie Mildred Ansell Lawler. A young secretary during World War II, she met Harold Premo, an American pilot in Townsville, Australia. They were married in 1945, and started a family in Australia. In 1946 she boarded a ship with hundreds of other war brides, leaving her family and homeland for life in America.

MRS. RUBY EMMA WALKER HARDIN-EVANS, age 99, of Milan, GA, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Warner Robins, GA.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, March 27 in Sand Grove Cemetery, Milan, with Rev. Aubrey Corbitt officiating.

Mrs. Hardin-Evans was a native of Dodge County, a member of Milan Baptist Church, a former seamstress for several textile plants, homemaker, daughter of the late Mattie Mae Cook Walker & William Lee Walker and widow of Gray Hardin and Walter Evans.  She was preceded in death by a 3 Sisters – Ollie Mullis, Lula Bennett & Dora Walker and Brother – Alton Walker.

Jessica Nicole Wolfe

Jessica Nicole Wolfe, 27, entered into rest on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

Jessica was born on February 13, 1985 in Warner Robins, Georgia. A 2003 graduate of Warner Robins High School, she worked as a legal assistant for the Houston County District Attorney's Office and was a member of Perry Church of Christ. She enjoyed donating her time to the community. Jessica was active with Relay for Life with Team Taking a Stand, and she was also involved with Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation in Cochran.

Doris C. Greene

 

Lizella, GA- Doris C. Greene, 85, of 3120 Hamlin Road, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00AM at Midway Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Dr. Ben Haygood and Dr. Tripp Martin will officiate. The family will greet friends at the church from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.

Mrs. Greene was affiliated with Midway Baptist Church and Vineville Baptist Church. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Greene was predeceased by her brother, Dewitt Cullars.

Robert Gerard Burton

Robert Gerard Burton, 45, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 30, 2011.

Mr. Burton was born on January 15, 1966 in Taunton, Massachusetts. With pride and honor, he served his country in both the National Guard (for twenty-three years) where he received numerous awards; and in the United States Army, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Most recently, he worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a Program Manager. Dearest to his heart were his family and friends, whom will miss him greatly.
