CW2 George Averitt Finley, US Army (Ret)

George Averitt Finley, 75, entered into rest on Thursday, September 27, 2012.

George was born on December 24, 1936 in Cadiz, Kentucky to the late John A. Finley and Mallie Atkins Finley. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army obtaining the rank of Chief Warrant Officer before retiring. He later retired as Director of Information Management at Fort Sam Houston. In George's spare time, he loved golfing, landscaping, and traveling.

Billy "Chief" Eugene Hunter 1939-2012

 

Bonaire – Billy Eugene Hunter went home on August 28, 2012 to be with his Lord and Savior and be reunited with his beautiful wife Sara, of forty-three years. He was 73 years old.

Billy was born on 15 July 1939 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Robert V. and Laura E. Hunter. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1959 and hitch-hiked his way to Warner Robins where his sister and her family lived. He quickly fell in love with the town and its people and Warner Robins became home for him. While attending High School he proudly began serving his country in the Georgia Army National Guard

Kyle Alexander Hillock, 17, joined the Angels in Heaven on Monday, August 20, 2012.

Kyle was born on November 29, 1994 in Warner Robins, Georgia. Kyle was in the Junior Class at Veteran's High School. Kyle enjoyed playing soccer and really loved to draw. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed working on and restoring automobiles with his father. Kyle truly enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

Warner Robins, GA- Donnis “Donnie” Landry Roland, 68, of 113 Wellston Circle, Warner Robins, Georgia died Monday, April 16, 2012. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1:00PM at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street.

Mr. Roland, a veteran of the United States Air Force, worked with the United States Postal Service and at Lowe’s. He loved fishing and hunting. He was the son of the late George Barton Roland and the late Martha Irene Simmons Roland and was predeceased by his son, Phillip Roland.

James Duncan Hamilton, 83, entered into rest on Monday, April 9, 2012.

Mr. Hamilton was born on September 18, 1928 in Kinston, North Carolina. He was of the Methodist faith. With honor, courage, and commitment, MSgt Hamilton served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after twenty three years of dedicated service. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife, children and grandchildren.

Jack Lenn Chandler, 67, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.

Mr. Chandler was born on January 25, 1945 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He attended Byron Baptist Church. Lenn retired from the City of Warner Robins where he was employed for many years as the Assistant Fire Chief. He was an avid fisherman and truly enjoyed spending time with his family.
