She was a tutor, spelling bee queen, loved crossword puzzles, word searches, and enjoyed playing cards and board games. Betty was a great cook with a fully stocked pantry at all times; she enjoyed organizing parties and cooking for family and friends. She also was an avid bowler, swimmer, diver, skier, gymnast, dancer, dog fancier, letter writer and seamstress. She had so many great qualities and leaves behind a legacy her family is proud to carry on. Her husband, Max "Dick" A. Nichols; parents, Fred A. Richter and Charlotte G.
