Warner Robins Man Dead After Shootout with Police | News
One man is dead Sunday night after getting into a gun battle with Warner Robins police officers.
Officers responded to a domestic call Sunday night in the 100 block of Huntwood Lane.
That's off of Hunt Road, near Houston Lake Road.
Warner Robins police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says officers were told the husband was at the house and threatening his wife with a gun.
The man and police shot at each other after officers arrived at the house. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead on the scene. One of the officers received minor injuries.
This officer-involved shooting death investigation has been turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
