Braves Caravan Stops in Warner Robins
News

Two weeks of traveling around Braves Country ended with a stop in Warner Robins on Saturday.  The Braves Caravan gave fans the chance to get autographs and meet their favorite Braves.

Over the 14 days, Braves players, coaches and staff traveled 3,000 miles to meet the chopping faithful.

Ryan Klesko, Phil Niekro, Eddie Perez and Greg Walker sat down in the Academy Sports and Outdoors to talk to fans.

"I came to the Braves Caravan today because I wanted to meet Phil Niekro," said Braves fan Andy Smith.  "He's in the Hall of Fame.  I've always admired him over the years and wanted to finally get his autograph."

The tour was not just for the fans.

"In my case, it's nice to hear, 'I was nine years old and I remember seeing you pitch,' '' explained Phil Niekro who pitched for Atlanta for 19 seasons.  "It's nice to know that there are still fans around that remember myself and us guys that played 20-30 years ago."

The Braves start Spring Training on February 22.
