No Injuries in Frito Lay Plant Fire
There are no injuries after a fire at the Frito Lay plant in Kathleen Tuesday night.
Houston County fire chief Jimmy Williams says it was a small fire, but several engines responded as a precaution. The call came just before 9 p.m. It took about an hour to extinguish the flames.
The plant is located on Highway 247. Williams couldn't say where in the building the fire started or what caused it.
Company officials would not comment Tuesday night.
