Warner Robins Making Pitch for Minor-League Ball | News

Some city leaders would like to hear "Play Ball" in the International City by bringing in a minor league baseball team.

At a meeting this afternoon,  city officials, business leaders and some former major league ballplayers tossed the idea around.

One of them was Warner Robins native Kal Daniels.

All that's according to someone who was in on the meeting.

So far, there is no timetable and they're still looking into whether it's even feasible.

Right now, the Warner Robins City Council is meeting about picking a site for a sports complex. So far, there's no word on whether those plans are connected.
