An official written order upholding the closing of two day care centers is expected Monday.
The two locations in Warner Robins are closed after the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, or DECAL, found a number of state violations.
According to a press release from the agency, two locations for Unique Tutoring and Individualized Children Academy were found to have violations relating to transportation, appropriate supervision of children, criminal record checks of employees, and missing or incomplete files.
Those centers are on Evergreen Street and Russell Parkway.
A judge with the Office of State Administrative Hearings upheld the state's decision and is expected to issue an official written order before noon Monday.
Families who are affected are encouraged to call 1-800-ALL GA KIDS to explore other child care options.
