Warner Robins Opens Bids for La Quinta Demolition | News
Demolition could begin next month on a Warner Robins hotel, nearly a year after it was gutted by a Thanksgiving Day fire.
The city of Warner Robins opened bids Tuesday morning for demolishing the La Quinta Inn on Willie Lee Parkway.

City attorney Jim Elliott says the La Quinta's owners agreed to let the city tear it down.
He says they hope that the city council can award the contract next Monday and that work can begin before Thanksgiving.
Elliott says the city hopes another company will buy the site for another hotel.
