Some Warner Robins Council Members Take Road Trip | News

Four members of the Warner Robins City Council will take a road trip to Rock Hill, South Carolina Thursday and Friday. Rock Hill is near the South Carolina-North Carolina border, just south of Charlotte.

According to a press release, they are taking the trip to tour a natural gas vehicle fueling station.

Utilities director Montie Walters, David Green from Frito Lay and two members of the Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia will also make the trip.

The group plans to leave Thursday morning at 10 a.m. and return to Warner Robins Friday afternoon.

At recent council meetings, the group has discussed purchasing natural gas vehicles for the city and opportunities to lower fuel costs.
