Mother: Shooting Victim Didn't Have MS
News

The mother of a Warner Robins man shot to death in his apartment last week says he did not have multiple sclerosis.

Last week, several neighbors of Joel Taylor told 13WMAZ that he had MS.

But on Thursday, Patricia Taylor said that's not so.

She said her 25-year-old son did have sickle-cell anemia, epilepsy, strokes and other health problems and had trouble walking.

She said she's in touch with Warner Robins police, but still has no clue why someone broke into his apartment and shot him. She theorizes that the killer saw him as an easy victim.

Patricia Taylor calls her son a "loving, spiritual young man."
