WR Shooting Victim Not Pressing Charges
News

A man who was shot Saturday afternoon says he won't press charges against his shooter.

Warner Robins Police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says it was a domestic dispute and the victim is not cooperating, therefore, no charges will be filed. They are treating it as a self-defense claim and will continue to investigate.

According to a news release, officers were called to 805 Olmstead Street around 3:30 p.m.

The man was shot in the lower abdomen. He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia and is in stable condition.

Pugh was not able to give 13WMAZ the name of the victim or the shooter.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Edwards at 478-929-6911.
