There were a lot of great items up for auction at the Museum of Aviation Saturday night. Bidders could choose from things like a Big Green Egg Grill, trips to St. Simons and Savannah, bikes, mattresses and much more.
Those were just some of over 400 items that made up the silent auction at the museum's fundraiser.
In addition to some pretty cool items, bidders at the 27th Annual Auction Raffle and Taste of Local Cuisine, had some culinary delights to taste with over a dozen restaurants helping cater the event.
"It's good for the community, it raises money for the museum, there are all kinds of programs here. The children grow up here and take these experiences on as adults," says Emily Barton.
The executive Vice Chairman of the Museum of Aviation Foundation, June Lowe says that all the money raised will help fund the education programs at the museum.
