The Houston County Sheriff's Office released autopsy results Friday in the death of 12-year-old India Collins.
Ruled a homicide, according to a press release, her death was caused by multiple gunshot wounds from a .40 caliber handgun between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Authorities say Carmen Kaneisha Collins, 17, obtained a .40 caliber handgun and shot India Collins, her sister, multiple times.
They say Carmen Collins then set fire to the house with gasoline and fled the scene in the family's white 2011 Acura TL with the family's white poodle.
Houston County firefighters located the victim inside and determined the fire was a possible arson case.
