Traffic Moving Again on I-75 after Accident Cleared | News

All lanes are open on Interstate 75 North in south Bibb County after a one-car crash slowed traffic Thursday morning.  The Georgia Department of Transportation reported two lanes were shut down as crews worked to clear the accident.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office,  the 18-year-old driver lost control of her Chevrolet HHR around 8:30 a.m.   The car crossed the median into the southbound lanes of the interstate and hit a guardrail.  Deputies say the car went back into the northbound side, hitting the beginning of guardrail which caused it to roll over.

The driver was able to climb out of the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.  The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
