More than 78 million U-S adults are considered obese.

That's according to a study from the Journal of American Medicine. But one Central Georgia wellness center is working to combat that statistic. The Cantrell Center in Warner Robins is hosting their Run to Lose 5K and Fun Run this weekend.

Mike Cantrell, the owner of the Cantrell Center and Miss America Betty Cantrell's dad, said the 5K would benefit the Miss America Charity, which is the Children's Miracle Network.

The Run to Lose 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and the one-mile fun run starts at 9:15 a.m.
