Warner Robins Police to give whistles to trail walkers for safety

The Warner Robins Police Department will kick off its 'Whistles for Walkers' program Friday at 9 a.m. at Dry Lake Park.

Free whistles will be handed out to those walking the trails at the park, according to a news release. Police say they encourage the public to stay vigilant when walking/running, using the buddy system and telling a family member or close friend where they are if alone.
