Autopsy: no signs of abuse in infant death
News

The Houston County coroner said an autopsy Friday found no signs of abuse or illness in the death of a Warner Robins 3-month-old.

Coroner Danny Galpin said the autopsy could not immediately determine a cause of death and further testing will take several months.

The child was found dead Wednesday morning at a home in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue in Warner Robins.

The infant's name has not been released.

Clarification: In an earlier version of this story we incorrectly implied that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is involved in the case.

They tell us they are not, and they say they have no information on why the child died.
