Warner Robins PD hosts 'Coffee With a Cop'
News

On Sept. 29, you can have "Coffee With a Cop" in Warner Robins.

The police department is offering people a chance to meet with officers, ask questions and learn about the department.

It starts at 8 a.m. Sept.29 at the Starbucks 2729 Watson Boulevard, according to a department news release. The public is invited.

The department says people generally meet police officers during emergencies or other stressful situations. "Coffee With a Cop" is aimed at giving people a chance to have a "relaxed, one-on-one interaction" in an "informal neutral space."

According to the release, Chief Brett Evans said, "We hope having this event will help us get to know our community members, and let them get to know us. We plan to have more opportunities like this in the future."

For more information, you can contact the department's public information officer, Jennifer Parson, at (478) 302-5417 or at jparson@wrga.gov.
