Deadly motorcycle accident near concert

An accident near Warner Robins' Independence Day concert left a motorcyclist dead.

According to a release from Warner Robins Police Department, it happened July 3rd at 6:40 p.m., just as the area was becoming congested with concert traffic.

John Lebarron Seals of Mobile, Alabama was traveling West on Russell Parkway in his Chrysler 300 and approached South Davis Drive in the left turn lane. Donta Orlando Wilson of Bonaire was traveling East on Russell on his Suzuki motorcycle.

Mr. Seals tried to turn left onto Davis Drive when the traffic light was solid green. The release says Seals failed to yield the right of way to Wilson. Then Wilson crashed his motorcycle into the right front fender of the car. He died at the scene from the resulting injuries.

Anyone with information can call Officer Tom Pippio in the Traffic Division of the Warner Robins Police Department at 478-923-1048.
