Hundreds of kids celebrated the 25th anniversary of Young Astronauts' Day at The Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins.

Students got to do 18 different workshops. Everything from building a model airplane, to model rockets, doing a flight simulator and building parachutes. Paige Crouse and her best friend Hannah Spalding, both from Houston County, said the simulator was one of their favorite parts.

"It makes you feel like you're in a real plane. They have a pilot and a co-pilot, and you're navigator and stuff. And you can talk to each other with the headphones. But you have to say flight one, flight two," said Paige.

"It's kind of weird, because it's kind of like a do or die moment. You are with your best friend so you don't want want to fight with them or anything like that, so it's fun though," said Hannah.

Paige also said she enjoyed the egg drop.
