A 62-year-old woman is dead after a car crash Tuesday on Kingsbury Circle in Warner Robins.

Doris Allen of Warner Robins died of multiple fractures after a car she was in slammed into a tree, according to Houston County Coroner Danny Galpin.

The driver of the car, Chelsea Parmley, 20, Allen's granddaughter, was traveling east when she lost control of the car, according to a Warner Robins police news release.

Allen and Parmley were not wearing seat belts, Galpin said.

Parmley, who lives in Kentucky, is at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in serious condition, the news release states.
