St. Jude Dream Home tickets close to selling out | News
If you want a shot at winning the St. Jude Dream Home, you should not wait any longer to purchase a ticket.
The tickets are likely to sellout this weekend, says Maria Hultine, a St. Jude representative.
There's a limited number of tickets available. Of the 6,500 available for purchase, about 500 were left as of Friday afternoon.
The house in Warner Robins' "The Tiffany" neighborhood will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for tours.
It will be closed Easter Sunday.
If you visit the house, register to win a $5,000 shopping spree from Phillips furniture. You do not have to buy a ticket to register to win the shopping spree.
The house is 3,500 square feet, with five bedrooms and three and a half baths. It's fully furnished.
The home is valued at $400,000. A ticket for a chance to win it is$100.
Hultine, once a St. Jude patient herself, explained why it's worth your money to buy one of the last remaining tickets.
She said, "Your purchase of $100 for that Dream Home ticket will not only get you that Dream Home ticket that you want, but also that money will go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "
The Dream Home giveaway is April 27 on 13WMAZ.
In the past, there were tickets remaining that people could purchase during the give away. Hultine said that will not be the case this year.
