News

Add one more race to Warner Robins' November election ballot.

There will be a special election on Nov. 5 to fill Mike Brashear's Post 4 seat.

He resigned this week to qualify for the mayor's race. Two years are left in Brashear's term.

City Election Superintendent Kathy Cummings says candidates for Brashear's seat can qualify starting at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3, through 12:30 p.m. on Thursday the 5th.

The qualifying fee is $252. Brashear's district covers the city's west side.

People have until Oct. 7 to register to vote in November.
