Warner Robins Holds Belated 4th of July Fireworks | News
After being delayed by rain twice, Warner Robins finally held its Fourth of July Fireworks show on August 9th.
The event was originally supposed to be at McConnell-Talbert Stadium, but it was cancelled twice because of rain.
The cancellation also meant the Air Force Reserve Band would not be able to hold its final concert before disbanding because of federal budget cuts.
The final show was the same 25-minute fireworks show originally planned for last month, but with the location changed to the soccer fields near the Little League Stadium in Warner Robins.
Although the crowd was a lot smaller than would have been expected at the earlier concert, the numbers were boosted by having the fireworks after the Little League Southeastern championships next door.
Many people came straight over after the game to watch fireworks, and the stadium stayed open so people could watch from there.
