Joint STARS Changes Command This Fall

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga.--116th Air Control Wing changes leadership this fall.

On October 25, Colonel Kevin Clotfelter assumes command from Brig. Gen. William Welsh, according to a Robins Air Force Base news release.

 

Col. Clotfelter who is currently the 116th Opoerations Group Commander, has long-running experience in B-52, B-1B and E-8C Joint STARS flight operations. He has commanded at both squadron and group levels.

 

Welsh accepts his next assignment at Bolling AFB in Washington D.C. after 16 years in the Georgia National Guard.
