Rain Forces Cancellations, Changes to Sporting Events

Thursday's Bleckley-West Laurens golf matches that were to be played at Green Acres Golf Course were rained out. 

The home JV baseball game versus Veterans High School was also canceled and will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Veterans April 18. 

Friday's varsity baseball game against Putnam County High School has been moved back to 6:30 p.m. in order to allow more field time preparation due to recent rain.

HOUSTON COUNTY, GA – The Houston County Sharks team is in the midst of basketball season. The next game will be on Feb. 2, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. The game will be played away against the Atlanta Wolfpack.

The Sharks games are played on Saturdays.  The remaining basketball season schedule follows. 

·                     Feb. 9, 2013, Houston County Sharks vs. West Georgia Wolverines, 3:00 p.m., away

·                     Feb. 23, 2013, Houston County Sharks vs. Atlanta Wolfpack, 11:00 a.m., Bonaire Middle School
