Shine On In 2014

Welcome to 2014! Did you make resolutions for the new year? Have you broken your resolutions already? Whether you have or haven’t, the new year marks a time when we often decide we want to start fresh, make changes and generally improve ourselves to be better human beings.

For the past  few years instead of making resolutions, I've tried to set goals for myself and come up with a theme word to serve as my mantra for the rest of the year. Abundance and growth were my theme words for the past two years and both served well as focal points for my goals and aspirations.

Holiday Organizing Tip #27: Decoration Storage

Holiday Organizing Tip #27: Decoration Storage

Have a plan on how you will store your decorations. Strands of lights should be wrapped around a piece of cardboard or a store-bought light holder instead of just thrown in a box. This will save you time and headache next year.
