Twenty months ago, former Central Georgia basketball coach Chip "Narleski" Malone began his journey toward a heart transplant.

Today the 56 year old is healthy, with a new heart and continuing to spread his new message of heart healthy awareness.

To help share that message, Malone has written a book entitled "2nd chance" that chronicles the events that led to his life changing surgery as well as touches on his 32 years in coaching and the loving support he recieved from his family and friends during the time he says he needed them most.

Coach Malone is having a book signing Saturday, July 22nd at Lambs Well in Warner Robins from 1 to 3 in the afternoon.
Books are only ten dollars and part of the proceeds benefit the Georgia Transplant Foundation.
