Museum of Aviation Foundation staff members present John Langston, a Robins Air Force Base contract engineer, won the Apple iPad in a recent Museum of Aviation Foundation Pre-Raffle Drawing.  

That's according to a Museum of Aviation news release.

He also remains eligible to win $30,000 or a new car or truck at the Auction and Raffle on Saturday, July 16.

For Warner Robins Georgia residents, we will begin our holiday weekend on July 1st with the 29th Annual Independence Day Celebration by the Band of the Air Force Reserve with special performances by Robin Meade and Wynonna Judd.

Get a bird’s-eye view into the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce as we invite new members as well as established members to the exciting Chamber 101.  The event will be held at the Chamber on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 8 a.m.

Chamber 101 provides an opportunity for new members to be introduced to the Chamber, for existing members to be refreshed and to give a jumpstart to members who desire to become more involved.  It’s also used as a tool for prospective members and anyone interested in learning more about joining.

Guests will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and their business to each other.  They will also have a chance to share information about their services or products and learn about what other members have to offer.  The Chamber will also highlight its latest efforts concerning Social Media.

Shady Grove Church is hosting two FREE events for the family in the month of July!

We are having a one-day VBS Camp July 16 from 9:30am-2:30pm for children age 3 - recently graduated 5th grade. Registration begins at 9:00am, or you can pre-register online at www.shadygrovenow.com.

The other event is our 2nd annual Casting Shade Outreach on July 29 from 6:00-9:00pm. We will have LIVE music from Grafted By Grace, Feats of Strength by Shawn Harden and Chip Minton from Team Impact, water games and inflatables for kids, and much more!
