Bank Employees Volunteer with Ronald McDonald House

Bank Employees Volunteer with Ronald McDonald House

Robins Federal Credit Union not only made a monetary donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia but also took their donation one step further by providing volunteers to work at the house for three days.

The credit union began by making a corporate contribution to the Ronald McDonald House’s 365 Day Society. A contribution of $1,000 to the 365 Day Society covers the operating cost of the home for one day. Robins Federal’s donation of $3,000 will cover costs for three days.

Not content to donate funds alone, Robins Federal also provided volunteers to work at the house during their three sponsored days. Robins Federal employees worked in six different shifts over a two day period. Projects included yard work, revitalizing the playground, cleaning guest rooms, decorating for Christmas and preparing letters for a direct mail campaign.
