WARNER ROBINS, GA.--Warner Robins High School’s FFA team won second place in the Area 3 FFA Farm Business Management Career Development Event.
Team members Ronnie Kent, Kaitlyn Main, Shamarkus Stripling and Christina Williams qualified for the state competition which will be held Dec. 3, 2011, at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton.
Area 3 consists of approximately 26 Georgia counties.
The team that wins state will advance to national competition at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. in October 2012.
The Farm Business Management Career Development Event gives students the chance to apply economic principles and concepts used to make farm/ranch business management decisions. The regional event was held at Upson Lee High School in Thomaston on Nov. 17, 2011.
