--6 p.m. Egg hunt at Harvest Church after 6 p.m. service

  • Saturday

--Noon: Annual Eggstravaganza : Ada Lee Park, 203 Scott Blvd. Warner Robins

--10-noon, Easter Egg Hunt at  Parkway Assembly of God at 5191 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon (across from Middle Georgia State College)

Tri-Cities to Update the Robins Region at Chamber's Eggs & Issues

WARNER ROBINS, GA- Mayor Chuck Shaheen from the city of Warner Robins, Mayor John Harley from the city of Centerville and Mayor Jimmy Faircloth from the City of Perry, be featured at the first-ever Tri-City Eggs & Issues breakfast of the Robins Regional Chamber; to be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in Hangar One at the Museum of Aviation.

Sponsored by Flint Energies, a progress report will be presented from each of the cities in Houston County.  The event will also give an update of the cities’ current programs and offer a preview of plans for growth.  The breakfast are designed to keep community members abreast of local issues and is one of five in a series that the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce holds throughout the year.  The program features a presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.

Get a Bird’s-Eye View Into the Robins Regional Chamber at Chamber 101

WARNER ROBINS, GA- Get a bird’s-eye view into the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce as we invite new members as well as established members and guests to the exciting Chamber 101.  The event will be held at the Chamber on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.

Chamber 101 provides an opportunity for new members to be introduced to the Chamber, for existing members to be refreshed and to give a jumpstart to members who desire to become more involved.  It’s also used as a tool for prospective members and anyone interested in learning more about joining.

Guests will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and their business to each other.  They will also have a chance to share information about their services or products and learn about what other members have to offer.

Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting for Southern Floors & Tile

WARNER ROBINS, GA- The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening for Southern Floors & Tile.

Located at 103 Pecan Street in Bonaire, Southern Floors & Tile is owned and operated by Zane and Linda Dykes.  They opened Southern Floors and Tile in 2012 with the goal of offering great products, reasonably priced, while at the same time making you feel right at home.  Zane has 25 years’ experience in the floor covering industry. 

“When we were given the vision for this store, we wanted it to have many things, including a family friendly atmosphere, said Zane Dykes.  “We are very blessed to have great employees who enjoy the work they do because it transfers to our customers.”

Chamber Names Publix on Hwy 96 February Business of the Month

WARNER ROBINS, GA- The Small Business of the Month Committee of the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce presented Publix #1008 with the February Business of the Month Award, sponsored by Ambassador Personnel.

“The Publix store on Hwy 96 offers a great grocery shopping experience,” said Andrea Griner, Business of the Month Chair.  “They have a phenomenal staff and are very well managed.”

Griner says that over and over, for many years, her personal experiences have been great and in every department, she finds friendly associates that are eager to help.

“The store management recognizes the team that makes the store such a success,” said Griner.  “The store is neat, well-organized and the product selection is great.”

Griner and many other present at the presentation agreed that they are loyal customers because of Publix’s great people and great products.
