WRRD Footballer to Participate in National PP&K Competition

The Warner Robins Recreation Department has a youth football player, Isabella Winston, competing in the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick National Championships.  The competition will be held in Denver, Colorado this weekend January 11th and 12th.

Isabella, or Bella, as everyone calls her began her journey by participating in the local NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition which was held in Warner Robins, Georgia on September 26, 2013 at Memorial Park.  She won her division and advanced to the NFL PP & K Sectional competition on November 17, 2013 at Memorial Park in Warner Robins, Georgia.  Isabella was then notified that she had qualified to compete in the NFL PP & K Falcons Team Championship which was held December 15, 2013 at the Georgia Dome.

WARNER ROBINS, GA- The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting for A Different Stroke Studio, LLC to welcome them to the Chamber family.

A Different Stroke Studio, LLC offers on-location canvas painting.  They are a unique entertaining art experience new to the Robins Region, providing relaxation, and stress therapy and art education for beginning and expert painters to enjoy.

A Different Stroke Studio LLC (ADS) has a plethora of painting options to choose from varying in color, complexity and style,” says co-owner Micaela McKoy-Franklin.  “Our instructors will encouragingly guide you every step of the way, as you create your very own masterpiece.”

ADS will bring back the love of the arts to socialites and their families’ one party at a time,” said co-owner, Jayne’ Zachary. “Gather your crew, and we’ll bring the art to you.”

Newly located at 605A Russell Parkway in Warner Robins, Geosyntec is a specialized consulting and engineering firm that works with private and public sector clients to address new ventures and complex problems involving our environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure.

WARNER ROBINS, GA- The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Lush Art.

Located at 4993 Russell Parkway, Suite 360, Lush Art is a fun and relaxing art studio.   

“We’re a great option for the perfect date night, ladies night, or an evening out with friends, family, or co-workers,” said owner, Cara Heard.  “For other local businesses this is a fantastic option for team building.   I guarantee a memorable experience which will leave you not only with a quality piece of artwork you created yourself, but also proof that you can paint.”

Heard says that she in opening her small business, she has been painting, drinking and breathing Lush Art of Warner Robins.
