Join Robins Federal Credit Union for Military Saves Week | Events
Robins Federal Credit Union will be assisting members of the armed services, as well as their families and civilian workers at Robins Air Force Base, with savings plans during Military Saves Week, February 19-26, 2012,
The theme of Military Saves Week is “Build Your Savings Arsenal.” Those participating in Military Saves Week will learn how to establish a financial plan, save money, reduce debt, and enroll in the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP).
Additionally, Jenice Tarr, manager of Robins Federal Credit Union’s branches at Robins Air Force Base, will present a seminar on debt reduction on Thursday, February 23 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the Airman and Family Readiness Center. Participants will learn how to take small steps to pay down debt and improve their financial stability.
Military Saves Week is a Department of Defense campaign to persuade military service and family members, as well as the wider military community, to reduce debt and save money to ensure personal financial readiness and positively impact the nation’s savings rates. Military Saves encourages the military community to meet immediate needs and build long term wealth through savings and debt reductions.
