Star Bright Animal Rescue is not a shelter, it is a foster- based rescue. They utilize volunteers in the Georgia and New England area to foster homeless animals that would otherwise perish in Georgia Animal Control facilities. Their ability to help animals is directly related to the availability of foster space. Please support your local shelters and animal control facilities first and then let them know they can still help in your search for a new pet.

Star Bright has partnered with ShoeBox Recycling to give old shoes a new life. Have your recently gone shoe shopping? Parents, did you go back-to-school shopping? Ladies, you know you have pairs in there you will never touch, you really need to clean that closet out!
