Trade In Christmas Trees for Tree Seedlings

Trade In Christmas Trees for Tree Seedlings

So, once Christmas is over...it's time to slowly put away the decorations, and ditch the tree.

Bring your Christmas tree to The Great Christmas Tree Roundup on January 7, 2012.

Most trees will be chipped into mulch and used to keep city parks green and beautiful.  Others will be deposited in area lakes and streams to improve the habitat of fish.  As a special bonus, you will receive a free tree seedling for each tree you bring.

The Great Christmas Tree Roundup is scheduled for Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Maple Street.

January 7th is the only day free tree seedlings will be available in exchange for Christmas trees; however, Christmas trees may dropped near the water tower on Maple Street any time after Christmas.
