Meth, Guns Seized in 7 Houston County Raids
Crime

Drugs and guns were seized at seven SWAT team raids in Houston County, law enforcement authorities said.

Warner Robins police and the Houston County sheriff's department had a news conference to discuss the raids.

They said they executed seven search warrants simultaneously last week. Eight people were arrested, they said.

They said they seized more than a dozen marijuana plants, some cocaine and nearly $17,000 worth of methamphetamine.

Also seized: several weapons, 13 pit bulls and more than $61,000 in cash.

Authorities said one of the suspects, Frank Fountain Jr, was an officer at the Eastman Youth Detention Center. But they said they do not believe he was bringing contraband into the YDC.

They said the ringleader was 40-year-old Andrew Martin Holliday of Kathleen.
