Museum to Announce Poster Contest Winners Friday | Community Spirit

Warner Robins, GA -- The public is invited to the 2013 Museum of Aviation Skyscapes Poster Contest Awards Ceremony to be held at 6:30 pm this Friday, March 1, in the Museum’s Century of Flight Hangar.  A total of 90 entries were received this year from 6th-8th grade students at Westfield School, and Bonaire, Huntington, Perry and Miller Middle Schools.  This year’s theme was “Exploring Outer Space.”

 Judges selected seven winning posters which will be displayed in the Century of Flight Hangar for one year.  Ten students will also receive “honorable mention” awards. 

The judges were:  Judy Dienst, Leslie Butikofer, Carla Gourley, Kathy Hart, Joy Raynor, Kirk Scott, Cindy Groves and Pat Bartness.
