Robert L. Scott Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament Set for April | Community Spirit

This year's 8th Annual Brigadier General Robert L. Scott, Jr. Memorial Golf Scramble will be held on April 12, General Scott's actual birthday.  The 8th Annual Memorial golf event will be held again at Healy Point Country Club in Macon, Georgia.  General Scott is Macon's hometown hero who became a fighter ace and author during World War II.

This year's four person scramble will include a noon lunch at the clubhouse, greens fee, riding cart, range balls, a distinctive commemorative golf shirt and an evening birthday celebration buffet.  Golfers have a choice of an 8 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. tee time.  The tournament features top-of-the-line golf equipment as prizes for the winning foursomes.  Hole sponsors at $400 receive one player, flag sponsors at $750 get two players and tournament sponsors at $2,500 get four players.  Golfers and a guest are invited to the evening buffet and celebration at the Healy Point Clubhouse starting at 6 p.m.
