LJPS Celebrates Veterans Day Tuesday | Community Spirit

Lake Joy Primary School will celebrate Veterans Day with Take a Veteran to School Day.  Lake Joy Primary has invited their veterans to the school on Nov. 13, to read to classes throughout the day from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  The school also sent home stars for students and parents to decorate for any family members who are vets.  Once the family adds photos and labels them with the name and service branch of each veteran, these “stars” will be displayed in the school hallway.  

Lake Joy Primary also purchased “Support Our Troops” wristbands to give each student and staff member to wear Nov. 13.  Light refreshments will also be served during the event.
