Red Cross and 13WMAZ Want You to Be an Everyday Hero | Community Spirit

Being a hero doesn’t require special powers or even a special set of skills.  It can be as simple as helping a neighbor in need.  You can become an Everyday Hero in your community by donating blood this Fourth of July season.

13WMAZ and the American Red Cross are teaming up to help ensure blood is available when patients need it.  Blood drives will be held on June 29 and 30 at the following locations:
 

GALLERIA MALL  |  2950 Watson Blvd., Centerville, Ga. 31028     June 29:  2 p.m. – 7 p.m.  | June 30:  Noon – 5 p.m                       

MACON DONOR CENTER  |  3755 Bloomfield Rd., Suite 12B, Macon, Ga. 31206    June 29:  8 a.m. – 4 p.m.  | June 30:  8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

AMSTAR CINEMA  |  5996 Zebulon Rd., Macon, GA 31210     June 30:  Noon – 5 p.m.

MILLEDGEVILLE MALL  |  2400 North Columbia St., Milledgeville, GA 31061    June 30:  Noon – 5 p.m.

Each presenting donor will receive a free t-shirt, and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card that can be spent on food, gas, entertainment – anything you want!
