WARNER ROBINS, GA- The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Tavern at Southland Station.

WARNER ROBINS, GA- Nearly 250 business and community members were in attendance as the Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrated 62 years of service to the business community and bestowed various honor and awards in several categories, including Small Business of the Year at its 62nd Annual Meeting.

The award recipients are as follows:  The Charles K. Shaheen Small Business of the Year Award was presented by Mayor Chuck Shaheen and his mother, Mrs. Barbara Shaheen to Sonny’s Real-Pit Bar-B-Q.  This award was chosen from among the Small Business of the Month recipients from the previous year.  The business projects a positive image from the standpoint of its physical appearance.  The management, tools and materials utilized to conduct the business represent quality and the business dealings and reputation is above reproach.

Houston County, GA - The Houston County School System will host its annual Teacher Recruitment Fair on Saturday, March 3, 2012.

The recruitment fair happens at Warner Robins High School. 

Teachers interested in employment with the system are invited to attend the recruitment fair on March 3, from 9 a.m. until noon. 

Candidates are asked to register in the gym lobby by submitting a résumé.  Representatives from 38 schools will conduct screening interviews.
