Credit Union Announces Manager and Employee of the Year | Business

Each year, Robins Federal Credit Union selects two employees that represent the best of the best in two categories – Manager of the Year and Employee of the Year. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. In addition, Robins Federal management selects a branch of the year based solely on performance.

The winners chosen for  2011 are as follows:

David Bass, Zebulon Road Branch, Macon – Bass, formerly the manager of the Mulberry Street Branch in Macon, has been chosen as the 2011 Manager of the Year. Under his leadership, the Mulberry Street Branch exceeded in every major measurable level of performance, including loan goal, new account goal and mystery shop scores. In addition, Bass has developed his staff for success – recently three of his five staff members were chosen for promotion within Robins Federal Credit Union.  

Jose Simon, Perry Branch – Simon, a Member Service Representative at Robins Federal Credit Union’s Perry Branch, has been chosen as the 2011 Employee of the Year. Simon was selected based on his exemplary performance, excellent member service and ability to meet and exceed the goals set for him.

Mulberry Street Branch, Macon – The Mulberry Street Branch in downtown Macon has been chosen as the 2011 Branch of the Year. The branch continuously exceeded its new account and loan goals throughout the year, while providing excellent member service.
